This week's article discusses my experience with promotions in tech. I wanted to offer you all a different view than what many creators are sharing on social media where they aim to fast-track you to your next promo. My goal with this is not to dissuade you from their advice if it aligns with you (and certainly not to "throw shade" because many of them are absolutely excellent creators). My goal is just to show you that career paths look different for everyone, and that doesn't necessarily equate to better or worse.
