Just kidding. It's been ages. Almost 12 years, actually.

But things weren't always like this:

I didn't have a newsletter back in 2013
I didn't post to a YouTube channel
LinkedIn was some site I'd check once every quarter
Instagram? TikTok? Twitter? Pfft... I had Facebook, thank you very much.

But I had my blog, and I had a goal: Nobody knows what the heck they're doing when they transition to engineering management as an individual contributor, and I'm going to do my best to share what I learn.
